Property Tax Bills Delayed In Point Pleasant
Point Pleasant has not mailed its property tax bills for the last two quarters of 2023 and the preliminary estimates for 2024 yet.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — If you're looking for your property tax bill in Point Pleasant, you will need to be patient: Point Pleasant has not mailed the bills yet.
Borough officials said the property tax bills for the final two quarters of 2023 and estimated taxes for the first two quarters of 2024 are delayed because the borough has not received information from Ocean County that affects the property tax rate.
The Aug. 1 due date for third-quarter taxes, as set by law, will be extended based on the mailing date when the bills are ready to go out, borough officials said.
