Robert D. DeFalco Of Point Pleasant Dies At 53

Services will be held on Thursday and Friday.

Robert Donald DeFalco, 53, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Born in Montclair, he lived in Cedar Grove prior to moving to Point Pleasant 19 years ago. He was a graduate of Chubb Institute of Technology in Jersey City and became a computer programmer at IMS in Eatontown, NJ.

He was a parishioner of St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Point Pleasant Beach. Robert was predeceased by his father Paul DeFalco. He is survived by his mother Barbara De Falco, nee De France of Lakewood; His wife Lori nee Ialeggio, his son Dean and daughter Devin all of Point Pleasant; his sister Denise Soldo and her husband James of Brick. He is also survived by his beloved dogs Dunkin and Munchkin.

Viewing hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m on Thursday and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, 812 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s R.C. Church in Point Pleasant Beach, on Friday. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to go into a trust for his son’s education would be appreciated. Envelopes will be supplied at the funeral home, or e-mail Sue at sueiw@optonline.net.
