Roy Rogers Fast-Food Restaurant Coming To Brick

The chain is still around, and it plans to open a second restaurant in Ocean County.

Roy Rogers restaurants plan to open at a new location in Brick.

The fast-food restaurant announced recently that it has signed a franchise agreement with Ed Abramson for a new location in Brick.

The Brick Roy Rogers is projected to open in early 2015, marking the franchisee’s second restaurant opening in the Ocean County market. Abramson is currently owner/operator of the Roys location on Route 9 in the Berkeley area since 1994, according to a release from the company.

“We are excited about our expansion of Roy Rogers with Ed’s opening of the Brick location,” says Jim Plamondon, co-president of The Plamondon Companies who owns the Roy Rogers Restaurants chain. “Ed has been such a great operator and champion of our brand, developing a solid foundation in the Pine Beach community for several years. We look forward to this new restaurant and our continued partnership for many years to come.”

Building from the success of the Roy Rogers restaurant in the Berkeley area, Abramson is eager to make a similar impact in the Brick community, according to release.

“As a top requested area from our customers for opening a Roy Rogers, we couldn’t be happier to bring this new restaurant to the Brick community,” says Abramson. “Our Pine Beach restaurant has built a reputation for providing customers with great food and customer service, as well as being active in the local community. We’re excited about building this same reputation at the new Brick location.”

The Mid-Atlantic restaurant chain also continues its focus on further franchise expansion over the next five years, utilizing the expertise of the franchise development company, Franchise Dynamics, to bring forth new franchisee candidates to the brand, according to the release

Based in Frederick, Md., the Plamondon Companies own and operate 22 Roy Rogers Restaurants, and oversee 28 franchise locations in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to the release.
