POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach police department is participating in the national Coffee with a Cop program that provides for people to get to know their officers.
The Coffee with a Cop date is set for 10 a.m. to noon on Jan. 12 at Shore Pour coffee shop at the Little Point Bookshop, 618 Arnold Ave.
The program encourages the community to stop into a local coffee shop to have a cup of coffee and a relaxed one-on-one conversation with the officers in an effort to build positive relationships with the people they serve.
