I'm no fan of snow, in fact I really kind of despise it. I don't play in it. I hate shoveling it. It makes driving treacherous and walking even more dangerous. I've already had a slip and fall this winter that's caused me to have to take muscle relaxers for a spasming back. Have I mentioned that I don't like snow?
One of the things that made me happy about being appointed to the shore was the fact that there was often so much less snow at the shore than inland. I had always heard about how rare it was to see snow on the beach. Between last winter and this... at least three times it's happened now. I was anticipating light dustings or rain every time the area got a snow storm. I was duped!
And now we're to expect more on Saturday and another big storm early next week? Ugh!

Well, at least there's the ongoing series that I'm working on to keep me warm. So why don't you come on out to the Central UMC at 729 Arnold Avenue this Sunday morning as we continue to look at the music of the Beatles and how we can see God in what they wrote and sang. Services are at 8AM and 10AM.
