Statewide Manhunt For Child Rape Suspect Who May Be In N.J. Underway

A statewide manhunt is underway for a 34-year-old child rape suspect who may be in New Jersey, police said.

Joseph R. Genitempo of Felton, Delaware, is wanted on a first-degree rape charge, according to the Delaware State Police.

The investigation began when an 11-year-old female disclosed to her mother that she was sexually molested by the suspect over the course of year and a half beginning back in August of 2014.

Genitempo may be living somewhere in New Jersey.
