Summerfest Kicks Off Summer In Point Pleasant
The festival has fun for the whole family at Community Park, including music, kids' activities and more.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Summer is underway in Point Pleasant, which kicked off the borough's Summerfest celebration.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Community Park, corner of Bridge Avenue and Beaver Dam Road.
There will be vendors, food, a beer and wine tent, inflatables, and a rock wall. There will be a kids' activity area with all-day wristbands for $10.

Bands will be performing all day Saturday, including Clarizio Music, Kiersten Blue, Matt Baker, Desert Jellies, Mike Montrey Band, and Colossal Street Jam.
There will be performances by Devrin Academy of Irish Dance, Extensions Dance Academy and Tygon Martial Arts.

Parking is available at Point Pleasant Borough High School, and a shuttle service is provided to and from the high school.
