Two Seeking Board of Ed Seat in Point Beach

Incumbent Beth Keefe will face Michael Ramos in the November election.

Incumbent Beth Keefe is being challenged by Michael Ramos in the race for one three-year seat on the Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education.

Keefe and Ramos were the only candidates who filed petitions to be on the November ballot by Monday’s filing deadline, according to the Ocean County Clerk’s office.

Keefe ran unopposed in 2011 for the seat vacated by Phyllis Thomson. Ramos is vice-chair of the borough’s recreation committee.
