USCGA Flotilla 16-07 Presents "Water N' Kids" in Brick Twp
USCGA FLOTILLA 16-07 PRESENTS "WATER N' KIDS" AT MERIDIAN EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER AT OCEAN MEDICAL CENTER
A team of Instructors from Flotilla 16-07 (5NR) presented water safety information from the Water 'n Kids Auxiliary National Program to a group of 30 children aged 3-4 at the Meridian Early Childhood Education Center at Ocean Medical Center on Tuesday, 24 April 2018. Needless to say, the children were a lively and outspoken group of learners as they heard about the importance of knowing how to swim, the difference between people and fish, why life jackets are so important when around water, and the disposal and recycling of trash.
Our team consisted of Dennis Georgia, William Castagno, John Ignozza, and John Fisher. The team performed admirably in presenting their material while holding the attention of the little learners.
Also in attendance were Vito Buccellato, Chief Operating Officer of Ocean Medical Center, and Allison Cerco, Anne Green, and Kristina Kelly, Administrators of the Early Childhood Education Center.
