The staff at Valentine House, 605 Bay Avenue, are reaching out to make the holidays special for the residents. Our residents are all on a fixed income.
On Thursday, December 5th from 6pm to 8pm the House will host the annual Holiday Store. This gives the residents a chance to use house credits (Valentine Bucks!) to purchase gifts for their family and friends. This is the favorite event of the year among the residents.
We are seeking donations of new items that the residents can purchase as gifts.

The purpose is to get people to go into their closets, drawers, cabinets, etc and say "I'm not going to use this, let me donate it and I know someone will enjoy it." Some examples of donations are clothing, jewelry, soaps, household items, wallets, pajamas, platters, dish sets, appliances, candles, sweatshirts, toys. We request that Christmas items be kept to a minimum as we are still inundated with them from past years. All items must be new, they don't have to be in a box or the box doesn't have to be perfect.
Donations can be dropped off at the Valentine House up until December 5th.
