Water, Sewer Utility Improvements Set For Point Pleasant Beach

Point Pleasant Beach is planning water and sewer utility improvements.

The Borough Council introduced an ordinance on Tuesday that would appropriate $163,750 in bonds for the improvements.

The public hearing will be on June 18.

Repairs to the sanitary sewer system include emergency lining of the Arnold Avenue sanitary sewer, including all other work and materials necessary. The estimated cost is $136,750.

The borough also plans to acquire a sewer line rapid assessment tool, including all other work and materials necessary. Appropriation and estimated cost is $27,000.
