1 Dead In Thursday Morning Shooting In Mercer County: Prosecutor

Douglas Munn of Trenton was found with multiple gunshot wounds early Thursday morning, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Mercer County man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in Trenton early Thursday morning, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

Before 6 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, Trenton police received two shot spotter activations from Hoffman Avenue, and when they arrived, officers found Douglas Munn, 50, of Trenton laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Onofri said.

He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later, Onofri said.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
