10 Princeton Area Teachers Made $100K Or More In 2017
These teachers are among the highest paid in the state.

PRINCETON, NJ — A total of 10 teachers from the Princeton area are among the highest paid teachers in the state. Three of them teach in the Princeton Public School District, one is at the Princeton Charter School and six of them teach in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.
The state Department of Education released its annual list of teachers' salaries for 2017. The teachers who made the list all make significantly more than the average statewide salary of $70,637, which also includes librarians, guidance counselors, and other non-administrative staff, according to an NJ Spotlight analysis.

- Mark Schlawin, Princeton Charter School, $119,000;
- Diane Chiocca, Thomas R. Grover Middle School in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, $117,090;
- Lucretia Chivukula, Thomas R. Grover Middle School in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, $115,368;
- Thomas Connolly, West-Windsor Plainsboro High School North, $114,888;
- Karina Regal, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, $114,570;

- Wayne Wendel, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, $113,928;
