159 Coronavirus Cases, 15 Deaths: Latest Princeton Update

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton has reported a total of 159 confirmed cases and 15 deaths of the new coronavirus as of Tuesday. Looking at the overall numbers, 9 percent of the confirmed cases in Princeton have died.

Of the positive cases, 71 were released from isolation and have recovered, according to Princeton Spokesman Frederick Williams.

Of the positive cases, 53 percent were men and 47 percent were women.

Here is a breakdown of the positive cases ages:

• Under 11 years old - 3
• Ages 12 - 17 - 3
• Ages 18 to 25 - 11
• Ages 26 to 35 - 12
• Ages 36 to 45 - 31
• Ages 46 to 55 - 24
• Ages 56 to 65 - 17
• Ages 66 to 75 - 12
• Ages 76 to 85 - 16
• Over 86 - 29

Mercer County has a total of 5,426 cases and 349 deaths as of Tuesday, according to the state. Trenton is the hardest hit in the county with 1,818 cases followed by Hamilton with 1,310.
