182 Coronavirus Cases, 18 Deaths: Latest Princeton Update

The latest on the coronavirus outbreak in Princeton and Mercer County as of Friday, June 12.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton is reporting a total of 182 confirmed cases and 18 deaths of the coronavirus as of Friday.

Princeton had five new cases in the past week and 10 new cases in the past two weeks. Of the positive coronavirus cases, 95 are women or 52 percent, and 89 are men or 48 percent.

  • Under 11 years old - 3
  • Ages 12 to 17 - 3
  • Ages 18 to 25 - 13
  • Ages 26 to 35 - 14
  • Ages 36 to 45 - 36
  • Ages 46 to 55 - 27
  • Ages 56 to 65 - 20
  • Ages 66 to 75 - 15
  • Ages 76 to 85 - 18
  • Over 86 - 32

Mercer County has a total of 7,295 positive cases and 515 deaths as of Friday.

Here are the new reopenings:

  • Libraries can do curbside pickup
  • Beauty salons can open on June 22
  • Barber shops can open on June 22
  • Cosmetology shops can open on June 22
  • Day and medical spas (not steam rooms, saunas or shared bathing facilities) can open on June 22
  • Electrology facilities can open on June 22
  • Hair-braiding shops can open on June 22
  • Massage parlors can open on June 22
  • Nail salons can open on June 22
  • Tanning salons can open on June 22
  • Tattoo parlors can open on June 22
