2 New Assistant Principals Appointed At Princeton Public Schools

Princeton High School and Princeton Middle School recently welcomed two new assistant principals.

PRINCETON, NJ – The school district recently welcomed two new assistant principals – one at Princeton High School and one at Princeton Middle School.

Nicole Mantuano Lacsamana was appointed to Princeton High School. Mantuano Lacsamana started on Monday.

She recently worked at Cherry Hill High School East where she taught English and the Social Justice course, which she helped develop with the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a teaching fellow. She taught for seven years at Cherry Hill High School East, where she developed and delivered English instruction for Honors, Accelerated, and College Prep courses.

Mantuano Lacsamana was also an English Adjunct Professor at Rowan College at Burlington County and an ESL Adjunct Processor at Cumberland County College.

Fluent in written and spoken French, Mantuano Lacsamana has a Doctor of Education from Rutgers University, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers, where she majored in Psychology, Journalism, and English.

"I am here to serve students, support teachers, and create strong partnerships with parents and the community," Mantuano Lacsamana said.

Jessica Kilgore started at Princeton Middle School last week as assistant principal. Before coming to PPS, Kilgore worked at Ashbrook Elementary School in Lumberton where she served as interim principal.

Prior to Lumberton, Kilgore was the interim assistant principal at Burlington Township Middle School at Springside. She has also worked at the Village Elementary School in West Windsor-Plainsboro and at Montgomery Lower Middle School. She spent three years as the assistant principal at J.P. Case Middle School in Flemington.

Kilgore has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a MA in Education with a major in Public School Administration from Oral Roberts University.
