5 Candidates Running For 3 Seats On Princeton BOE In 2022
Two newcomers are looking to unseat three incumbents. All candidates are seeking three-year terms.
PRINCETON, NJ — Five candidates have thrown their hats in the ring in hopes of filling three open seats on the Princeton Board of Education, according to Mercer County officials.
The last day to file applications to run for the BOE race was Monday 4 p.m. All candidates are seeking three-year terms.
Three incumbents — Deborah Bronfeld, Dafna Kendal and Susan Kanter are seeking reelection. Two newcomers, Lishian Lisa Wu and Margarita “Rita” Rafalovsky are looking to unseat the incumbents.

Bronfled is seeking a third term, Kanter her second term and Kendal her third non-consecutive term.
Currently, Kendal serves as BOE president.
