Amid Rising COVID Cases, Mercer County Provides Free Testing

Testing will take place at CURE Insurance Arena, Gate C, 81 Hamilton Ave. Trenton. Appointments are not necessary.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — With COVID-19 cases on the rise in New Jersey this holiday season, County Executive Brian M Hughes has teamed up with the New Jersey Department of Health to offer free COVID-19 testing to residents.

Testing will take place at CURE Insurance Arena, Gate C, 81 Hamilton Ave. Trenton. Appointments are not necessary and anyone age 2 and above who lives, works or goes to school in New Jersey can get tested.

  • Thursday, Dec. 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Dec. 27, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 28, 12 noon to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Who should get tested:

Meanwhile, Hughes announced that County residents 14 years or older, and anyone employed as a first responder or health care worker in Mercer, can sign up to receive a free COVID-19 saliva test to be administered at home. This service is being offered through a partnership between the County and Vault Health Services of New Jersey.
