PRINCETON, NJ — A juvenile riding an e-bike was critically injured Sunday after colliding with a motor vehicle at the intersection of Ewing Street and Terhune Road, Princeton police said.
The crash was reported around 12:01 p.m. Princeton Police, the Princeton Fire Department and the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
According to investigation, the juvenile was traveling northbound on Ewing Street when the e-bike entered the intersection at Terhune Road and struck a vehicle traveling eastbound on Terhune Road. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital and remained in critical condition, police said. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The Princeton Police Department's Serious Collision Response Team and representatives from the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office responded to conduct an investigation. The area around Ewing Street and Terhune Road was closed for approximately three and a half hours.
No further information about the juvenile was released.
