Man With Loaded Gun Stopped On Princeton Street: Blotter

PRINCETON, NJ — A man with a loaded gun was stopped by police on a Princeton street recently.

On June 1 at 8:49 a.m., officers tried to stop Michael Huttinger, 39, of Conshohocken PA, after seeing what appeared to be a loaded handgun magazine protruding from his pocket while he was riding a scooter on State Road, according to the blotter.

Huttinger initially ignored officers' commands and continued traveling before stopping in front of a home on State Road, said police.

During the investigation, officers found a loaded 9mm handgun magazine containing six rounds, as well as 45 additional 9mm rounds from Huttinger’s belongings, according to the blotter.

Huttinger was arrested and charged with certain persons not to have weapons or ammunition and obstructing by flight.

On May 27 at 8:09 p.m.: A victim on Harriet Drive reported receiving a text alert from his bank regarding an unauthorized charge of $2,612.31 made through PayPal using his Wells Fargo Visa credit card. The victim immediately contacted Wells Fargo, which canceled the card and advised that the transaction would be investigated. After contacting PayPal, the victim learned the
purchase had been made using his name but was associated with an unfamiliar Burlington address. This theft is under further investigation.

On May 27 at 12:28 p.m.: Following a report of an erratic driver, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Balcort Drive after seeing a vehicle swerving partially off the roadway. The driver, Aditya Khurjekar, 53, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Khurjekar was taken to the police
headquarters, where he provided breath samples for chemical testing. After processing, Khurjekar was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and released to a sober adult.

On May 30 at 12:24 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on University Place for failure to maintain lane and failure to observe a traffic control device, officers determined that the driver, Sorabh, 22, of Richmond HI, NY, was driving a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating substance. Sorabh was arrested, searched, and taken to police headquarters for processing. As a result of the investigation, he was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses. While at headquarters, Sorabh failed to provide two proper breath samples and was
subsequently charged with refusal to submit to breath testing. Following processing, he was released to a sober adult.
