The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:
PRINCETON, NJ - On June 21, at 5:31 p.m., patrols responded to the 100 block of Chestnut Street to investigate the report of a stolen bicycle. The victim reported that their Schwinn bicycle, valued at $150, was stolen from their backyard sometime between June 20 and June 21. This theft is under investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
On June 22, at 02:25 p.m., officers met with a woman who stated that an unknown person utilized her debit card to make three fraudulent transactions at a Target store located in Clark, NJ. The woman suffered a monetary loss of 399.85. This theft is under further investigation.
On June 22, at 1:18 pm, a woman reported that a former coworker sent her multiple text messages, violating a no-contact court order. The colleague later turned herself into police to be arrested for stalking and Contempt of Court. She was subsequently turned over to the Mercer County Correctional Center.
On June 22, at 12:12 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop on Hamilton Avenue, the driver of the vehicle, the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested at the scene and transported back to police headquarters for processing. The man was issued a summons for being in possession of drug paraphernalia as well as multiple motor vehicle summonses. He was released on his own recognizance.
On June 26, at 02:05 a.m., following a report of a one-car motor vehicle crash on Woodlands Way, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was subsequently taken to police headquarters to be processed. The man was later released to a sober adult after being issued multiple motor vehicle summonses.
