PRINCETON, NJ – Furniture giant Wayfair announced plans to open a new large-format retail store at Nassau Park Pavilion, along the Route 1 corridor. The approximately 135,000-square-foot store is expected to open in 2027.
While Wayfair's announcement and the shopping center's branding refer to the location as "Princeton," Nassau Park Pavilion is technically situated in West Windsor Township and carries a Princeton mailing address — a common naming convention for retail centers along that stretch of Route 1.
The center is owned and managed by Bridge33 Capital. In the announcement, Carmen Decker, executive vice president of real estate operations and strategy at Bridge33 Capital, said the partnership reflects the company's commitment to curating a "best-in-class retail destination" for the area.
Liza Lefkowski, Wayfair's vice president of merchandising and stores, said the opening represents a milestone in the company's expanding physical retail presence.
"We're creating a destination where customers can explore inspiring spaces, experience the quality and breadth of our assortment firsthand, and seamlessly shop across online and in-store channels with the convenience and flexibility they expect from Wayfair," Lefkowski said.
The store will carry furniture, décor, housewares and appliances, including a curated selection of Wayfair Verified items, with some pieces available for same-day takehome. Free design services will also be offered.
The Princeton-area location joins Wayfair's growing physical footprint, which includes existing stores in Wilmette, Illinois; Atlanta; and Columbus, Ohio, along with upcoming locations in Denver; Westchester, New York; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Cincinnati.
