PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police Department is hiring a communications officer to join its public safety team, with a starting salary of $55,000 to $70,000.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED. The department is looking for applicants with strong computer skills who are calm under pressure and strong communicators.
Selected candidates must satisfy an employer-paid physical, drug screen and criminal background check. New Jersey residency is required under N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), and proof of U.S. citizenship or immigration status will be required upon hire, pursuant to federal law.
