The following is a summary of incidents as reported by Princeton Police:
PRINCETON, NJ — On Sept.8, at 4:10 p.m., an unknown black man driving a silver or beige Hyundai got $49.02 worth of gasoline from a gas station on Bayard Lane and fled the area without paying. Investigative efforts to identify the vehicle and suspect were unsuccessful. No surveillance footage was available, and no suspects have been identified.
On Sept. 9, at 8:34 a.m., two men entered a business on North Harrison Street and concealed around $1,223.56 worth of allergy and eye/ear care merchandise under their clothing. The men left the store past all points of sale without paying. Surveillance footage was obtained, and additional efforts to identify the suspects and the vehicle they entered are ongoing.
On Sept. 11, at 1:23 p.m., a woman reported that her Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and $150 in cash were stolen while she was gardening on the south side of a location on North Harrison Street. The cellphone was later recovered by an employee of a landscaping company near the intersection of North Harrison Street and Hamilton Avenue; however, the cash was missing. Investigative efforts included attempts to obtain surveillance footage and interviews with involved individuals. No suspects have been identified.
On Sept.14, at 8:41 a.m., two masked men crawled under a closed entry gate and entered a home on Hunt Drive. They peered into the windows of an attached garage using flashlights before fleeing in a blue sedan traveling eastbound on Hunt Drive. A pry mark was discovered on a garage window frame. The suspects were not identified.
On Sept.14, at 6:59 a.m., an unknown suspect shattered the rear driver side window of a vehicle parked inside a detached garage on Constitution Hill West and stole a wallet containing approximately $6.00. The cost to repair the window was estimated at $3,000. Surveillance camera checks in the surrounding area yielded no footage of the incident. No suspects have been identified.
On Sept. 15, at 10:25 a.m., a resident reported that an unsecured Ninebot KickScooter F2 Pro electric scooter, valued at $583.75, was stolen from the porch area of a home on Hulfish Street. The theft likely occurred between Sept. 10 and Sept. 14. No suspects have been identified.
