Princeton Day School is pleased to announce that Brian “BJ” Dudeck ’13 has signed to play Division I Baseball for the Virginia Military Institute beginning in the fall. Dudeck, a resident of Hamilton Square, NJ, is a standout student-athlete at the school, known for his prowess on the baseball diamond as well as the basketball court.
Varsity Baseball Coach Ray O’Brien remarked, “BJ begins his 4th varsity season as our Senior team captain and one of the top players in the area. He is one of the most dedicated, hardworking players I have coached at PDS. It is always a pleasure for a coach to see a player rewarded for all his efforts. I'm sure BJ will have continued success at VMI.” Mr. Dudeck added, “I chose VMI because of the combination of respected academics, the military option, a fantastic group of coaches, the program’s ability to send players to the MLB, and the opportunity to play for a great team that has seen as high as a #25 ranking in NCAA Baseball national polls in recent years.”
