Princeton Students Among Virtuoso Performers at Kimmel Center

Over 35 young virtuosos (aged 6 to 24) performed in the “Young Classical Virtuosos of Tomorrow" Gold Medal Concert - a Philadelphia first - at the Kimmel Center on June 19. Playing the finest piano – the Steinway, provided by Jacobs Music Company, in the finest concert hall in the city, these outstanding students were selected in an international competition, the students are residents of many areas of the Delaware Valley, North Jersey and New York.

Among the performers were Princeton residents Farshad Tahivildar-Zadeh, Josepha Hsia, Tiffianey Hsia, and Julian Edgren.


In a unique collaboration, the Nelly Berman School of Music of Haverford worked closely with their sponsors, Jacobs Music Company. It’s the ideal partnership, as both are family-run organizations passionate about the importance of fostering an appreciation of classical music in young people.
