Apartments On Tulane St. Approved By Princeton Planning Board
Of the 14 residential units, three will be set aside for low, very-low and moderate-income families.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Planning Board on Thursday approved a mixed-use commercial and residential apartment building on 40-42 North Tulane Street. The location is near the corner of Spring Street.
Princeton International Properties is looking to build 14 rental apartments on the three upper floors and a 2,500 square feet office space on the first floor of the property.
Of the 14 residential units, three will be set aside for low, very-low and moderate-income families.

The plan calls for demolishing an existing garage at the back of the property, and “retaining, renovating, and partially demolishing the existing structure and integrating into the development of a new proposed structure.”
During the meeting on March. 3, architect Marina Rubina said there will be nine parking spots for the apartments which will include chargers for electric vehicles.

An indoor bicycle room is expected to accommodate 12 bicycles, in addition, there will be four bicycle parking spaces outside the lobby entrance to the North Tulane Street building.
The property is located in the RB/AHO -1 Zoning District. The AHO-1 zone permits added density benefit – or more units, if it includes affordable housing within the development.
