Attempted Luring Of 16-Year-Old Princeton Sisters Reported

PRINCETON, NJ — Authorities are searching for a man wanted for trying to lure two 16-year-old sisters into his truck in Princeton, police say.

The mother of the two teen girls reported to police over the weekend the two luring incidents that happened on Sept. 24 at 4:30 p.m. and Sept. 27 at 5 p.m., police said. The incidents happened in the area of the 300 block of Witherspoon Street.

A man questioned the 16-year-old sisters asking them for their names and offering them rides home in his truck, the teens' mother told police.

The man was described as Hispanic, 35 to 40 years old, with short black hair, a black mustache, dark complexion and a slightly heavy build, Princeton Police said.

He also had a Mexican accent and drove a black, newer model, full-size extended cab pick-up truck. The make and model is unknown, police said.

Police sent out an alert to residents about the two incidents on Monday morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact Princeton Police at 609-921-2100.
