Author of Book About 9/11 Terror Attacks to Visit Princeton Sept. 17 and 25

A witness to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks will present his novel on the subject at Princeton University in September.

R.C. Mulcahy, a former resident in the Princeton area, wrote the novel “One From Two,” with proceeds being donated to further medical research at Harvard University in honor of those who died in the terrorist attacks.

His two appearances at Princeton are scheduled for Sept. 17 and Sept. 25.

Mulcahy witnessed the Sept. 11 attacks from a Jersey City, New Jersey office tower. “One From Two” serves as a salute to the World Trade Center and to those harmed by a tragedy of chance.

“The book is a ‘rebuilding’ novel, which weaves together the story of the construction, collapse and revitalization of the World Trade Center with the personal crises faced by the principal characters,” Mulcahy said. “The symbolic analogy of the Twin Towers and other plot lines were assembled with the help of many experts.”

Mulcahy went to San Francisco, London and many other locations to conduct research for the novel. He visited Princeton, Harvard, Stanford University and the University of Oxford.
