Back To School: 2021-22 School Calendar In Princeton

Parents in Princeton can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.

PRINCETON, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Princeton, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Princeton Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Princeton is Sep. 9.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

In preparation for September, the school district has prepared three plans that take into consideration different circumstances. Three teams — each from the elementary, middle, and high schools – have worked on the reopening plans.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Princeton Public Schools

  • First Day: Sep. 9, 2021
  • Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26
  • Winter Break: Dec. 24 - Jan. 2, 2022. Classes resume Jan. 3
  • Spring Break: April 11, 2022 - April 15, 2022
  • Last Day: June 16, 2022 (early dismissal)
