Black Bear Spotted in Princeton on Sunday
Princeton Police received multiple reports of a black bear in the areas of Bunn Drive and Autumn Hill Road on Sunday.

Princeton, NJ -- Princeton Police received multiple reports of a black bear in the areas of Bunn Drive and Autumn Hill Road on Sunday.
Residents are advised to secure their trash in bear-resistant garbage containers or with tight fitting lids to reduce odors.
They should also clean any food scraps from grills porches and decks, and keep meat scraps out of compost piles, and immediately remove all uneaten food and bowls used by pets fed outdoors (NO food after dark).

Pets should not be fed outdoors unless absolutely necessary.
Residents should never hang bird feeders in easy to reach locations (feeders should be at least 10 feet in the air).

Residents are advised to wait until trash collection day to put their trash out, and not put it out early.
Garbage containers should be cleaned with disinfectant to remove odors.
Beehives, livestock, and fruit crops should be secured with an electric fence.
