To the Editor:
Monday night the Princeton Township Committee unanimously passed the Resolution to Support a Call for a Constitutional Amendment to Overturn the Citizens United Decision. Attending the meeting in support of this resolution was a group from the NJ for the Overturn of Citizens United Campaign.
Princeton Township joins nearly 300 municipalities across the nation by passing this resolution. In a recent poll 7 in 10 Americans voiced their opposition to the CU decision. 16,000 NJ voters have signed the petitions for an amendment to overturn CU and these have been presented to the NJ legislature which has two resolutions (AR 86 and SR 47) under consideration.
