A Fresh Face in Paris,1906:Amedeo Modigliani Arrives' On April 20, 2026 The Women's College Club of the Princeton will meet 1 to 3 PM at Morven Museum Stockton Educational&nbsp;Center 55 Stockton St, Princeton NJ.&nbsp; This month Joyce Felsenfeld will give a presentation about an early 20th century artist, Amedeo Modigliani. Born in Livorno, Italy, he moved to Paris and became a painter and sculptor of the École de Paris, mainly working in France. He was flamboyant and lived an often wild, bohemian lifestyle, all while making many beautiful portraits of the many people he knew. He had an avant-garde style and his faces are unique with characteristic elongated, melancholic features and emotion. Though his life was cut short by illness, dying in poverty and obscurity, he is now celebrated as one of the 20th century's most significant artists Joyce Felsenfeld&nbsp;is a New Jersey native, a graduate of Douglass College and did graduate work at Rutgers.&nbsp; Upon retiring as a&nbsp;faculty member at Stuart Country Day School, she studied with a Princeton University professor to be a museum docent.&nbsp; With the 2025 opening of the New Princeton Museum, Joyce has continued her journey as a docent and tour guide and enjoys sharing her expertise and knowledge of art with others.&nbsp;Free and open to the public.&nbsp; For more information contact <a target="_blank" href="https://wccpnj.org/" rel="nofollow noopener">WCCPNJ.org</a>

POINTS OF VIEW CELEBRATES ART IN BUCKS COUNTY
The first Points of View Art show was in September 2014. This yearJeanne Chesterton and Ilene Rubin will host their 11th Points of View Art Show in April. This is a celebration of art that consistently includes a who’s who list of some of the best artists in the region. Getting better attendance, a wonderful variety of art and being a must-attend destination every year, Chesterton and Rubin will once again open the doors to some of the finest art, beginning with a reception April 24th from 5-8pm. The show continues Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, 12-5pm at the Saw Mill at Prallsville Mill, 33 Risler Street in Stockton, NJ, 08559.
Showcasing their art will be Jeanne Chesterton and Ilene Rubin, together this year with invited artists Kat Collins of Eason, PA and Bucks County artists Deborah Eater, Pat Powell, and James Feehan and Susan Roseman. All art is for sale. 
Chesterton and Rubin have found that joining talent with location to exhibit and sell art has been a winning combination and an endeavor that they enjoy promoting. The art complements each other while all are vastly different. All the invited artists are well known, award-winning, and bring a unique voice and interpretation to the visual art community. Embodying their own perspective toward art, all the artists are at the top of their artistic journeys, offering an impressive, professionally created body of work. 
There is something for everyone with little to no overlap of style or range. All have amassed their own following and niche in an otherwise crowded art field in the Bucks County/ River Towns region. It’s a unique blend with a wide price range. Whether your penchant is for traditional still life or landscape, an exploration of abstract or assemblage art, you will find it here, right in the heart of Bucks County art country.

Yale School Performing Arts Center

Y.A.L.E. School, a private special education school serving students with disabilities ages 3-21, will host the sixth annual Tri-State Ability Art Show: Metropolis on April 24 &amp; 25 at its Performing Arts Center in Cherry Hill. The Art Show will showcase artwork by students with disabilities in grades K-12 and ages 18-21 from across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Highlighting student talents, the exhibit emphasizes the significance of creative expression, acceptance and inclusion.
Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, April 24 from 6-9 p.m., which will also feature live music from young musicians and craft activities for children of all ages. The Gallery, along with a Craft Fair, will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There is no cost to attend, and all are invited.
