Join your neighbors for an afternoon of food, libations, jazz, and a solutions-focused talk with Kathryn Edin, Princeton University Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs and Director of the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at Princeton University. Edin is one of the nation’s leading poverty researchers and has co-authored nine books, including her latest, The Injustice of Place: Uncovering the Legacy of Poverty in America and $2 a Day: The Art of Living on Virtually Nothing in America. All proceeds from this event support the nonprofit Housing Initiatives of Princeton whose mission is to help Mercer County families and individuals facing homelessness and eviction secure stable housing and build a sustainable future.
