Join acclaimed Argentinian nature photographer, teacher and documentary filmmaker Ossian Lindholm for this immersive learning experience. Learn photographic techniques that will help you achieve dramatic images in a range of nature’s light.
October 22: Part 1: We'll investigate exposing for natural light, a new approach to find the proper exposure. We’ll learn how to take advantage of the dynamic range and tonal range of our camera, discuss overcoming digital noise and the problems of highlights.
October 29: Part 2: We will explore how the camera’s light meter works, light meter modes, using the histogram to achieve correct exposure, the problem of digital shadows and the fundamentals and practical examples of Exposing to the Right technique (ETTR).
