Last week, Chapin School Princeton’s Quiz Bowl A team—ranked 16th in the United States out of 1200 teams—left for Chicago to compete in the Quiz Bowl national competition, hoping to claim their rightful spot as one of the top teams in the country.
The entire student body gathered together to give them a resounding send-off and wish them good luck in their competition. Plus, the team competed in a match with selected faculty members. So much fun.
Chapin's Quiz Bowl had an exciting weekend in Chicago at the National Academic Quiz Bowl Tournament National Championships. After a slow start, they had a five-game winning streak and made the second-day playoffs. While they were eliminated in the playoff round, they gave their very best at every moment and made the whole Chapin community proud. A special shout-out to their coach Mark Myers. Way to go Chargers!!
