Community Science Day To Be Held In Princeton On Sunday

Attendees will go on a guided nature walk at Rogers Refuge to help collect data for the Environmental Resource Inventory.

PRINCETON, NJ – If you love science and would like to contribute to research, this is your chance.

The Princeton Environmental Commission (PEC) and the Friends of Rogers Refuge will be hosting a Community Science Day at Rogers Refuge Sunday.

Friends of Rogers Refuge will take attendees on a guided nature walk and collect data to support the Environmental Resource Inventory. They will be joined by members from the PEC.

The guided tour will begin at 8 a.m. and last until 11 a.m. A limited number of Nature explorer Backpacks for children and adults will be available. They will include binoculars, magnifying glasses and more. Attendees can also bring their own backpacks.

All data will be collected using the iNaturalist app. Although registration is not required, space is limited.
