The female hawk was found unable to fly but still full of life, said Princeton Officials.

PRINCETON, NJ — An adult female Coopers Hawk was found and rescued at a playground at a Princeton school last week.
Animal Control Officer Jim Ferry was called to the Princeton Nursery School on Broadmead to help the hawk which had been found on the playground unable to fly but still full of life and very quick on its feet, according to Princeton, NJ Government.
"Much to the delight of the kids at the school, Mr. Ferry was able to safely secure the bird in a carrier, and perform a brief, impromptu show-and-tell with the hawk before transporting it to the Mercer County Wildlife Center," said Princeton.
