County Can Move Forward With Washington Road Crosswalk in Princeton
The crossing is one of the most heavily-used crossings in Mercer County.

Princeton, NJ -- The Delaware and Raritan Canal Commission has approved Mercer County's plans to install a crosswalk with pedestrian-activated beacons at the Washington Road crossing in Princeton, Planet Princeton reports.
In addition to the Delaware and Raritan Canal Commission, the county needed approvals from both the state and Princeton historic preservation offices and Princeton University.
The crossing is one of the most heavily-used crossings in Mercer County, according to the report.
