COVID Vaccine Sites In Mercer County: Here's Where

More federal supply of the coronavirus vaccine is expected. Here are all the places you can get it in Mercer County.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Due to the winter storm this week, Gov. Phil Murphy warned that the inclement weather was causing delays in COVID-19 vaccine appointments

Meanwhile, anxious residents continue to ask the same question: where can I get my COVID vaccine?

Beginning Feb. 13 all clinics that were being held in Mercer County towns will be relocated to either the CURE Arena or Mercer County Community College site.

While most county run sites across the state closed due to the winter storm, the Mercer County sites remained open by appointment.

New Jersey is publicly listing COVID-19 vaccination sites. Some are accepting appointments directly, but some are not. But the state has suggested reaching out to those sites and seeing if getting an appointment is possible (see the area/county's list of vaccine sites below).

Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said the state plans to increase the number of vaccination sites beyond 300. State officials have said the goal is to vaccinate 70 percent of the adult population by the spring.

Murphy announced that New Jersey has created a county-by-county vaccine hub that reports the number of immunizations across the state. (see our guide to the vaccination system below).

"We're working strategically and efficiently to vaccinate our frontline health care workers, law enforcement and fire professionals and long-term care center residents and staff," he said.

Persichilli also said New Jersey currently doesn't have a lot of vaccine availability, but she expects that to change soon. The Biden administration has said that it plans to greatly expand the number of vaccine doses available to the American public.

New Jersey recently expanded the list of eligible people, allowing police and fire professionals and people older than 65 to get the vaccine. Read more: NJ Expands COVID Vaccine To 65 & Older, Those With Medical Issues
