D&R Canal Multi-Use Trail To Close For 1 Week In Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ — The D&R Canal Multi-Use Trail will close next week due to ongoing construction activities by the New Jersey Department Of Transportation at the Washington Road Bridge Replacement Project.

The trail will close starting Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3 between the Alexander Road and Lower Harrison Street access points in Princeton.

Southbound traffic: The towpath will be closed starting at the Lower Harrison Street Parking Lot/access point.

Northbound traffic: The towpath will be closed starting at the Alexander Road Parking Lot/access point.

The Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park is asking the public to avoid this section of the towpath during this time.
