Drag Queen Story Hour With Carrie Dragshaw In Princeton On Saturday
This event will directly support BRCSJ's new initiative that combats censorship and battles book-banning.
PRINCETON, NJ — The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice will host a Drag Queen Story Hour in Princeton on Saturday, at 11 a.m.
The fun and engaging event is open to kids, families, adults and allies and will feature Carrie Dragshaw who will be hosting her first story hour.
The program aims to teach children about gender diversity, promote self-acceptance, and build empathy through stories and songs. It also helps to curb bullying of LGBTQIA youth.

This event will directly support the BRCSJ’s new initiative, the BRCSJ Defenders of the Right To Read, which under the strong leadership of the Center's award-winning Librarian-in-Residence Martha Hickson and Andrea Caporale, combats censorship, battles book-banning, and keeps people reading freely.
Copies of Carrie's new book "Becoming A Queen" will also be available for her to sign as a benefit for the LGBTQIA safe space & community activist hub.
