E-Waste Disposal Day In Mercer County Feb. 24
The Mercer County E-Waste Day ensures residents that their electronic property is properly discarded.

The Mercer County Improvement Authority will host an Electronics Waste Disposal Day on Saturday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Parking Lot 4 at 651 South Broad Street, across from the County Administration Building in Trenton.
The event is for county residents who wish to recycle electronics, and will take place rain or shine. No registration is necessary, but the event is open to Mercer County residents only. Attendees will need to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license. No commercial or industrial waste will be accepted.
On the same day, the MCIA will offer a document shredding service. Up to eight boxes or bags of paper may be discarded.

New Jersey’s Electronic Waste Recycling Act requires that certain electronic devices and components be discarded in an environmentally safe manner. The Mercer County E-Waste Day ensures residents that their electronic property is properly discarded, officials said.
Acceptable used electronic items include: camera equipment, central processing units (CPUs), circuit boards, computer mouses, copiers, electric wire, fax machines, keyboards, laptops and peripherals, microwave ovens, networking equipment, phones, printers, scanners, stereo equipment, televisions and VCRs.
