East Brunswick Hosting Toy, Food And Gift Card Holiday Drive

The drive will support families in need during the holiday season.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Township and The Interfaith Clergy Council are hosting a Toy and Gift Card Holiday Drive to support families in need.

Community members are invited to contribute to the drive and also donate food.

Here’s what’s needed:

Thanksgiving Food Donations:

  • Frozen turkeys and hams can be dropped off to the Aldersgate Outreach Community Center pantry directly. Address 562 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. The pantry is open Sunday, Tuesday, Friday, 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.
  • Non-perishable Thanksgiving food items can be donated to the white ‘Food Drive’ bus in the Recreation and Parks parking lot. The Recreation and Parks office is located at 334 Dunhams Corner Road, and open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
  • Non-perishable Thanksgiving food items can also be donated directly to Aldersgate Outreach Community Center's pantry.

Gift Card Donations:

  • Residents can also donate a gift card from Target or Walmart in $5, $10, $20, or $25 denominations. Drop off gift cards to the metal drop-box by the front door of the Recreation Office.

Toy Donations:

  • Donate new, unwrapped, and unopened toys to the bins in the lobbies of the Recreation Office or the East Brunswick Municipal Building.
