Easter Egg Hunt Draws Kids to Princeton Academy
Despite the chilly weather, kids flocked to the annual quest for eggs and chocolate.
It was cloudy, overcast and a little chilly, but kids’ smiles and laughter filled the Manor House garden at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart.
More than 50 children came out for the fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday afternoon Children ages 3-6 searched for eggs while parents, friends, siblings and cousins helped.

“This is a community event,” said Tom von Oehsen, director of admissions at Princeton Academy.
Inside each egg there was a piece of candy, but there were also three jackpot eggs. In one, there was a golden coin and in two other eggs there were small rings. The golden coin won a large chocolate bunny and the two smaller rings won smaller chocolate bunnies.

Jackson and William Busch found the gold coin and plan to share the bunny.
“Somehow my boys have found a gold coin every year,” said their mother Justine Busch, “I think they associate this event with winning a lot of chocolate!”
The children searched high and low for the eggs.
“We hid the candy in bushes, on the sides of plants, under the stairs and the jackpot egg was hidden in a hole with leaves over it,” seventh grader Rohan Chatterjee said.
About a dozen seventh graders helped the younger kids.
“They are here to help out the little guys and give some subtle hints,” chuckled von Oehsen.
Chris and Dana Anderson brought their two young children, Kendall and Sydney, out to enjoy the hunt.
“We are having a great time, this is our first year,” Chris Anderson said.
