Edison Students Can Learn How To Solve Crime Through Science
The Edison Recreation Department is introducing "Forensic Fridays", a program that takes a scientific approach to solving crime.
EDSION, NJ – The Edison Recreation Department along with CSI National Camp is hosting "Forensic Fridays," a STEM-based crime solving course.
The classes are designed like an educational program for students in middle school, junior high, and high school. Students will learn how to use a scientific approach to solving crime. They should have an interest in science (general and forensic), law enforcement or take a keen interest in general problem-solving.
Students will learn to use state-of-the-art techniques and technology from current and former detectives. The classes will explore STEM and other practical concepts to keep students connected, focused and engaged.

The program is essentially designed to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community.
The course begins Feb. 5 at 4:30 p.m. Fee is $89 per child in grades 6-12. For more information, visit NationalCSIcamp.org.
