Election Day 2016 Results: How Did Mercer County Vote In The Presidential Election?
Donald Trump won the presidency, but Hillary Clinton won New Jersey. Which way did the county go?

Although Donald Trump may be the new president this morning, it isn’t a result of voting in New Jersey.
Democrat Hillary Clinton won New Jersey’s 14 electoral votes with 55 percent of the vote, a total of 1,947,650 votes.
In Mercer County, Clinton’s votes more than doubled that of Trump’s. A whopping 143,866 residents turned out for this election, a full 61.10 percent of registered voters in the county.

Clinton won 93,721 votes, good enough for 65.76 percent of the vote. Trump collected 42,604 votes, good enough for 29.89 percent of the vote.
Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson was third with 2,907 votes, followed by Green Party candidate Jill Stein with 1,519 votes.

Constitution Party candidate Darrell Castle won 189 votes, independent candidate Monica Moorehead collected 165 votes and Reform Party candidate Rocky DeLa Fuente won 134 votes.
No other candidate earned more than 100 votes.
