New and vetern umpires will be able to brush up on the new high school rules and umpiring mechanics -- all before the season starts!
The clinician is Cris Maloney, one of USA Field Hockey's first nationally certified umpire coaches. Maloney is publisher of UmpireHockey.com and author of HOW TO UMPIRE FIELD HOCKEY.
The program will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM on the turf at Princeton Day School on Friday, June 22. The clinic is free for those who have taken the 10-hour umpiring course offered by Mercer County Community College. The fee for others is $10.00 for USA Field Hockey members and $25.00 for non-members.
Also available will be copies of HOW TO UMPIRE FIELD HOCKEY. Normally $25.00, but only $20.00 if purchased during the clinic.
