Family Who Fell In Love With Princeton To Open Rita’s Ice Shop
Jeffrey Antell and his family, who are from Bucks County, PA, are planning to open a Rita's Italian Ice in Princeton this spring.
PRINCETON, NJ — A local family is crossing the Delaware River to set up roots in Princeton after they fell in love with the town. Jeffrey Antell and his family are opening a Rita’s Italian Ice shop in the Princeton Shopping Center this coming spring.
Antell and his wife Jaime have been longtime residents of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They currently live in Newtown. They have three children — Ben age 19, Chase age 7 and Taylor age 5, who Antell says are "all future employees."
"When we decided to open a Rita’s franchise and were looking for a place to call home we simply fell in love with Princeton. Having already been familiar with the town as a visitor we knew the community was one that we wanted to be a part of," Antell said.

The new Rita's franchise location will be at 301 N Harrison St. where the McCaffrey's Food Market is located.
"We looking forward to partnering with the many organizations that make up Princeton through onsite and offsite events to become a contributing business within the community," Antell said. "And of course we looking forward to serving our tasty treats to those who call it home!"
