Season's First Flu Clinic Held At Princeton
Officials from the health department said 47 patients were vaccinated.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton hosted its first flu clinic for the upcoming season on Wednesday. Health department officials said 47 patients were vaccinated in a two-hour period.
The clinic was held at Witherspoon Hall Community Room, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Mayor Liz Lampert and fire inspector Peggy Brookes were among those who got their flu shots. The turnout included municipal employees and those living in the community.

Public health nurse Kathy Korwin, and health department intern Deanna Amarosa handled the paperwork and made sure safety guidelines were followed.
The vaccines were administered by two employees from Walgreens Pharmacy, Hillsborough, said town officials.

The next clinic is scheduled for Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Methodist Church located at 7 Vandeventer Ave., Nassau St.
Mask and physical distancing are mandatory for all attendees. Appointments need to be made in advance, and walk-ups are subject to availability.

The health department will also be scheduling flu clinics at senior living centers, and will announce dates soon.
Uninsured community members will be vaccinated for free.

- Sep. 12, Methodist Church, 4-6 p.m.
- Sep. 26, Princeton Public Library, 10 a.m.- 12 p.m.
- Oct. 13, Princeton Senior Resource Center, 1-6 p.m.
- Oct. 24, Stone Hill Church, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Oct. 28, Witherspoon Hall, 4-6 p.m.
- Nov. 14, Princeton Public Library, 12- 2 p.m.
